There are good an bad points with that, in that if you are looking for nightlife this is not the best part of the city for that, also if you were struggling back with bags of souvenirs its a quite a way and a heck of a hill. The hotel is in a great location for Mala Strana and Prague castle and its very quiet here at night, I walked back from a restaurant at about 9pm and the street was deserted. Be aware that the hotel lift is quite small so if you have lots of bags you may need to go up in shifts.
